Announcement and Call for Abstracts

The deadline for submitting abstracts is 15th December, 2017   

The scientific committee of Abu Dhabi International Conference on Vitamin D Deficiency and Human Health has issued a call for abstracts for its Conference on 15th & 16th of March, 2018 being held at Jumeirah Etihad Towers Hotel in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This event will shed the light on the latest research and clinical practice of Vitamin D and its impact on human health throught the life cycle. The program will include state-of-the-art lectures in the early detection, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of Vitamin D Deficiency and it’s role to human health.
 
The main objective for the Conference is to:
  • Define the mechanism of Vitamin D metabolism
  • Discuss  the  serious  global  problem of Vitamin D Deficiency
  • Diagnose Vitamin D deficiency/insufficiency
  • List the  indications  for testing  of Vitamin D
  • Describe  the  commonly used  methods  for  measurement  of  Vitamin D
  • Demonstrate complications of Vitamin D deficiency
  • Evaluate the correlation of multiple diseases and Vitamin D deficiency
  • Describe testing and treatment of Vitamin D deficiency
  • Explain recommendations for intake

Abstract Guidelines
All abstracts submitted for presentations (by the 15th December, 2017) will be assessed and prospective speakers will be notified about the results by 30th December,2017.

Speakers are advised to keep the following guidelines in mind when planning both the abstracts and presentations:

Abstracts must contain original scientific data collected by the author(s). All reports must be based on work that has already been completed. No studies "in progress" will be accepted. The abstracts will be scored on the following criteria:
  • Originality
  • Concept and design
  • Presentation
  • Applicability
  • Other characteristics
Language: All abstracts are to be written in English. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to edit abstracts for grammar and clarity.

Submission: All abstracts must be submitted via the Abstract Form which can be accessed at www.menaconference.com. This should be limited to a maximum of 250 words and should include the following:

Title of abstract
Names and contact details of author(s) {organization, city /country, email, phone numbers, fax numbers and mailing address}. Please indicate the name of the presenter/ clearly and provide the author's biography with the abstract.

The abstract must include the following headings clearly: Purpose, Methods, Results and Conclusions.
Abstract submission will be acknowledged via email. If you do not receive an email within one week of submission or have any additional queries please contact email maria@menaconference.com
 
 
Important dates
  • 15th December, 2017- Deadline for submission of abstracts.
  • 30th December, 2017- Presenters will be notified of acceptance.
Important Information
  • All abstracts must be prepared using the abstract submission guidelines.
  • Each presenter may submit a maximum of two abstracts.
  • Each abstract submission must indicate if the material was published or presented in any prior Congress or if it received any awards
  • All presenters will be registered to attend the Conference if abstract is accepted and be present at the time of the Congress.
  • A certificate of appreciation will be given to all the presenters to honor their presentation.
  • Presenters must not use the session as a marketing opportunity for products/equipment
  • Travel, accommodation and visa process will be provided to selected and approved oral abstract presenter
