High-level scope
1- Engineered TQM concepts and programs across SEHA System along with the implementation of utilization, risk and safety management norms towards establishing sustainable continuous quality improvement.
2- Assure system improvement and staff development initiatives fully aligned with strategic objectives and priorities in addition to leading clinical and non-clinical strategic development plans
3- Assure sustainability, standardization, and system integration toward seamless healthcare operations processes including optimization and re-engineering in a stable and sustainable manner.
4- Ensure optimal dynamic functional and admin quality structure that enable structured accountability, efficient and effective communication, and solid horizontal/vertical risk transfer in a fair and just environment toward highly reliability organization and organizational excellence.
5- Assuming regional responsibilities to facilitate implementation of total quality management culture, coordinating and contributing to the implementation and decentralization of quality system in addition to monitoring and facilitating JCIA accreditation, reaccreditation, and program certifications as the foundation to achieve sustainable excellence in healthcare.
6- Coordinating, facilitating, and collaborating on communication of strategic KPI (system level) and reporting, facilitating team formation and performance for QI/PI transformational projects in addition to spearheading training and education methods for quality tools, methodology and concepts. Mentoring patient safety goals activities and monitor compliance.
7- Augmenting and integrating multidisciplinary activities at corporate, tactical, and operational level, simultaneously guiding envisaged initiatives toward excellence in healthcare as per objectives formulated by leadership. .
8- Responsible to safeguard and monitor strategic clinical audit and support clinical researches at National level.
Former Group Director for Medical Command and Response in SEHA, the largest healthcare network in the Middle East, high level scope;
9- Optimize readiness index at SEHA System, the maturity of SEHA response identified in 2010 as of 25% is standing at 96% exceeding target set by the Government and defined as a benchmark at GCC. Such achievement led to;
10- Establish and maintain optimal maturity index for business continuity across all disciplines directly or indirectly support stability and sustainability of emergency response within SEHA and across external stakeholders
11- Establish and maintain optimal maturity of enterprise risk management within SEHA similar to the established readiness index model, including financial, legal, and operational risk, assessment, impact analysis, and mitigation following BCM framework.
12- Establish and maintain optimal maturity of Environmental health & Safety (EHSMS) maturity index within SEHA similar to the established readiness index model.
13- Establish and maintain optimal maturity of Occupational health & Safety Programs (OSHAD) in line with government regulations and mandate with focus on employee health and well-being. This program presented as a sub-index to EHSMS due to relevance.
14- Maintain and optimize the core governmental mandate medical response team capability and capacity to all field operations.
15- Ensure optimal CBRNE capability within SEHA system as the government medical safety net.
16- Optimize preparedness for epidemics and pandemics which establishing optimal surveillance infrastructure and early warning solutions.
17- Team leader of SEHA Medical Response team for all field operations including triage, assessment and stabilization, lifesaving interventions both at national level and oversees.
18- Establish optimal patient transfer & referral processes within SEHA Network and at both national and international level among all healthcare stakeholders. Also, to assure progressive, stable, and sustainable preparedness profile across SEHA, large scale Events Management, knowledge/technology transfer in the field and building competencies and capacity among SEHA and Stakeholders to ensure business continuity, and the implementation of Culture of Preparedness at system and society level.
Previously:
1- 1997-2004 Former Director of total quality management and as TQM coordinator at Armed Forces Hospitals network, Ministry of Defense, Saudi Arabia from 1997-2003, accountable to establish for knowledge transfer with MDFD, ARAMCO, and AFH network. Two main milestones achievement stated, decentralization of strategy planning, (down-up model established), patient electronic file and standardization of coding and terminology across 17 hospitals.
2- 1992-1997 Former executive director at Ministry of Health in Syria, mainly responsible to lead knowledge/technology transfer projects in emergency and disaster management; Japan, Sweden, France to Syria 1992-1997. Pioneer to introduce and undertake the concept of technology / knowledge transfer in the Healthcare setting at system level since 1993 in home country Syria and in collaboration with UNDP, JICA, WHO, and CDC, also in KSA in collaboration with Harvard Medical International and Saudi ARAMCO. Two milestones recorded achievements stated, Parliament of Japan declaration in 1997 for JICA project for the upgrading of Emergency Services in Syria 1992-1995 as the best value added Grant Aid project among all Grant Aid projects extended for 36 eligible countries in the last 30 years, National Award for project automation 1996.
3- Chairman of active committee at SEHA 2010-2012, I took the initiative to transform SEHA people toward healthy life style and quality of life. Was able to generate the Active strategy and was determined to share the transformation at the personal level with all colleagues in SEHA. Proactive member in all Blood donation campaigns, society activities, weight reduction programs, smoke cessation campaigns.

Certified Advance Disaster Medical Response ‘ADMR’. Arab Health Award for Excellence in Emergency Preparedness 2010 & 2011, Minister of Interior Award for Perfect Partner 2012, Daman 2014 Awards (Three awards achieved: Leader of the year, best initiative of Corporate Wellness initiative, and organizational health & wellness program).
Hobbies:
Triathlon (two completed participation sprint and short in 2013 and 2014), Marathon (full marathon 5 times, half-course 6 time, and 10k 4 times) squash (advance), regular blood donor in Abu Dhabi and Canada since 2012 to support society. Spartan Challenge 2016.
